Young children's social and emotional development is critical to success in life.  The Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning provides practical, thorough resources for teachers and families on this topic.  Some resources on this site are available in Spanish.

(Amazing personal memories and lessons) Heather Logan, Paradise Babies' Curriculum Coach, writes a blog documenting her experiences in education on the island.  Some great lessons can be learned. Check it out - DAP (Developmentally Appropriate Practices) on Roatan. Fairy Dust Teaching is a play based teaching resource focusing on Reggio Emilia inspired courses.
